Based on 756 reviewsPublic reviews of Pawon Sambal Kenthir highlight its authentic Indonesian dining experience, with a strong emphasis on traditional flavors and a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere. Patrons appreciate the generous portion sizes and diverse menu offerings, including unique regional dishes like Terancam and Nasi Liwet, which are often praised for their taste. The restaurant's ambiance, inspired by Jogjakarta’s traditional style, adds to the overall appeal, making it a popular spot for casual gatherings. While the staff are generally described as polite and friendly, there are occasional remarks about service responsiveness and parking inconveniences. Prices are viewed as somewhat premium, but many feel the quality justifies the cost.
We called their business number and the person answered very politely, I was making sure that we can pay using cashless, this restaurant surely provide whatever payment in our convenient. This is one of the place that I recommend you to visit if u stressout burnout and u want some sort of simple "healing" asap in this area nice resto with authentic vibes. Bring your family here, they have a simple cute playground for kids to play. Their food everything delicious. Comfy place. (Becareful with little bugs tho) Fresh air without air conditioner so make sure you have the right outfit to wear. Our Food in pic: ⭐ Paket liwet personal ⭐ Trancam ⭐ Jangan lombok ⭐ Tahu isi ⭐ Perkedel jagung ⭐ Colenak ice cream ⭐ Wedang jahe asli jogja ⭐ Es Kopyor ⭐ Es Cendol Thankyou for the great food & service. We love it, definitely will return, wait for our next visit!!
the info is the favorite food is papeda. but because the shape is chewy I did not dare to try. The price of the food in my opinion is relatively expensive but because the nasi liwet package is delicious so it's okay! the service from the waiter is not up to the standard of a restaurant with a rate like that, calling must be repeated even though you come after lunch time. The parking lot is a bit narrow for getting in and out of cars but the ambiance inside even without AC is still comfortable for us.
A family-friendly restaurant. Their portion is vast enough for a family of 4. They serve the food fast, considering they have to prepare everything. The place is also spacious and perfect for chilling. Pretty surprise they serve Terancam which not many place serve it.
This resto has gained quite a following, and I'm not surprised why. Here's my take: - Cozy and intimate, perfect for a casual dinner with friends or family. - It's clear that the chefs take their sambal game seriously. The flavors were bold & utterly addictive. I paired mine with some delicious sop iga and iga penyet. The staff are friendly and attentive who were happy to guide me through the menu. However, their coffees could use a serious work. The serving size is quite generous and perfect for sharing. This place is definitely worth a visit and I rated 4.5/5. Will I be back? Absolutely!
This restaurant instantly transports you to Jogjakarta with its charming Joglo-style building concept. The ambiance, food, and overall vibe perfectly complement the traditional theme. Their Nasi Liwet is absolutely amazing—my friends and I couldn’t get enough and ended up ordering it two more times! I recommend getting the iced tea tower instead of individual glasses for a better deal. The breezy and cozy atmosphere makes it a great spot for dining or even hosting meetings before enjoying a meal. It’s also super kid-friendly, with a playground corner to keep the little ones entertained. There’s a wide variety of side dishes to accompany the Nasi Liwet, with both package menus and à la carte options. The sambals are perfectly spicy and add a great kick to the meal. The decor is fun and unique, with humorous quotes hanging on walls and pillars, making it a great spot for photos with your group. Even if it rains, there’s no need to worry—the building is equipped with bamboo curtains, a lovely Javanese touch. For dessert, you have to try their Teddy Bear Ice Cream—it’s as cute as it is delicious! A fantastic place for authentic vibes and memorable meals
freshly open restaurant quite near from my office with nice ambience. The collaboration of green trees and brown woods are never fail. The "lesehan" area completed with bean bags so you can relax for a while. They serves Javanese cuisines with classy tastes but pocket friendly prices. I really recommended you to stop by and taste their foods, drinks and dessert. Oh, the have sago mango that still unpublished on the menu. The taste is so creamy and delicious. 1 big portion can be shared into 2. will be back again, soon!
Worth portion with those price. Food are delicious but still can be improved.. serving time too long.. ambience are very Javanese, feeling like in jogjakarta..
